'Miss America runner up has links with Malaysia'
Ms Monica Pang is no doubt hot and probably deserving of her Runner-up title. But why does the connection with Malaysia come up? Do we feel the need to connect ourselves with the world like this?
Then there of course was the Australia Idol whom hailed from Klang or thereof; Guy Sebastien .. and once upon a time Betty Boo who graced the Brit Pop charts.
Kudos to the people who actually do this sort of family tree kinda of research. They must be experts on tracking the-Malaysian in you.
Personally, from my point of view Why hoot about being Malaysian when everyone here when asked 'What are you?' will answer Malay, Chinese, Indian or Others. Contradicting aint it.
On another note, Im pretty sure Hang Tuah was Malaysian. Unfortunately, i didnt get the chance to share a drink with him. Nevertheless, his story lived on and if you like musicals i suggest you check out the Puteri Gunung Ledang musical happening at Istana Budaya from Feb 9 - Feb 26.
If anyone does watch the musical before me kindly leave a comment in case i dont get to see it.
