STOUXINGERS

I was at CJ's last night for Quiz Night with Pizza and Stout. Got whooped so let's not talk about that. (Winning team got 52 out of 60 points!! WTF?!)

Instead of going home we decided to sit through one set of Rafique Rashid. The dude is an old timer who hasn't played a gig in a while. Also a fellow La Sallian! Cheer! Cheer!Amazing!

Rafique hasn't lost his touch that's for sure. Crowd engaging and truly an entertainer. Check out his version of 'Lola' which he renamed 'Yoga' and also his tribute to 'Samy Velu'. Every Tuesday @ CJ's 9.30pm.

But that's not what this post is about. It's about STOUXINGERS!!!

Stouxingers are a 6-piece Acapella band from Leipzig, Germany who recently performed at the Penang Jazz Festival last weekend. They came by CJ's yesterday to show some support for Rafique.

Naturally, since they were there Rafique requested a song which they gladly performed. Two words - Mind Blowing.



I managed to capture them on video, will upload as soon as I've downloaded it onto my pc. Awesome.
