Home again..

But for how long is the question?

Let's see in the past 10 days i spent like 10 hours at home in KL. Thank god i didnt have to go to Perlis on Saturday. I can finally catch up on laundry and sleep.

In Penang, I met up with Joanne at her 'regular-everybody-knows-her-name' joint - SOHO. Joanne didn't stay long as she looked very tired plus she had to go collect her passport right Jo? :) Btw i must say that mash potatoes did look good.

After that i hanged with Joel and this DJ friend from KL -Edmund. WAS suppose to go back by 12 but only left when it was the last call at the bar.

Among the things that intrigued me in Penang;

1. Taxi drivers in Penang either don't know how to use the meter or charge customers on their state of intoxication.

2. People in Penang can tell straight away you're from KL. How the hell do you do that? I can't tell if someone's from Malacca, JB or Ipoh er.. cept maybe Eddie! LOL .. but seriously is it just me?

3. How do people eat Nasi Kandar AND go back to work? Simply amazing enough said.

Sigh time to do the laundry.

Kuching flight delayed

I've got so many things to talk about my recent trip to Mukah, Sarawak but right now i'm just tired as hell and knowing i got to leave for KLIA again in 3 hours time doesn't help. Add into that equation that i spent 2 hours in the Sibu airport as my flight got delayed.

Apparently, a plane overshot it's landing on the runway in Kuching so flights were delayed all the way. Luckily, we took the flight from Sibu which transits at Kuching then heads off to KL. I know people who took the Mukah flight and are still stuck in Kuching airport!!

Got home at 2am now i got laundry to do and i think i shall stay awake till the aiport taxi comes. It's off to Kuala Terengganu this time. Least, i got a beach front hotel to look forward to.

I shall come back and update more on my recent trips when i get home for more than 8 hours.

Tagged on Valentine's Day?

Valetine's Day was quite different this year. My gf cooked dinner for me! Her first meal ever apparently. For a first timer i must say it was delicious. Lamb chop with side dishes of pasta and salad. Now if only i can get this bluetooth device to work i'll post the pictures of this meal up.

I'm really bad at buying gifts so i still owe my darling a Valentine's gift. Any ideas anyone? :p

1. I sometimes sleep naked cuz it gets so darn hot. No air-con la in my room.

2. I have or rather had one piercing on my left ear but i guess grew out of it.

4. I always put on my left socks before my right. I'm a lefty that probably explains it.

Alright think i better get some sleep since i need to wake up and 5am and pack my bags for Sarawak. Laundry is gonna be a problem since i get back only on Sunday for like 7 hours then i'm off to Terengganu. Will update my blog when i get back then.

Btw, the timing for my trips couldn't be any worse. Later tonite Liverpool take on Arsenal and on Saturday which is the event day Liverpool take on Man U but to top all this off i'm gonna be away on my 1 year anniversary!!! I'm so owe my gf big time. A weekend away probably? Shall wait and see.

My girlfriend needs to find a job soon! This morning while i was sleeping away she was so bored she found a product in Germany with my name on it. It's been around since 1955!!! And as of 2002 i'm available in Liquid and Liquid Color! Ain't that just great.

The weekend that was

Can't believe it's almost halfway through February already. Gonna be spending least one third of the month away from KL and bummer, it's mostly on weekends. Was in Perlis for the weekend and flying off again on Wednesday to Sarawak. Wonder if they count Enrich points for domestic flights cuz at the rate i'm going should be able to get a free flight to Australia at least by end of the year.

Friday
Let's see it was mum's bday but mum and step dad went for an early Valentine's/Bday holiday in Sabah. They got back last nite so still haven't seen her yet. Least that bought me time to search for a gift more carefully.

Went for dinner with Terry and Eddie. Business 'plan' talks. Headed to Breakers for one two after that around 11. Saw lots of people but Shaul was the most prominent one being drunk as hell on tequilla. Those ppl had like 5 bottles of tequilla under their belt when we got there. ~CRAZY~

Saturday

Off to Perlis only packed my bags like 10 minutes before the airport taxi came. Sabrina told me that Fizie's bday thingy was tonite so i said wish her for me and have fun. Did manage to catch Liverpool beating Wigan though.

Sunday

Work but it was nothing too difficult to do. Students from Perlis being taught by some Actor's Studio and Temple of Fine Arts people. Was done by 7pm and headed home. Got home and suprise suprise my other half is at home waiting for me. That was a nice suprise though. We talked a bit and then i knocked out tired as hell.

Yesterday was a blur

Dang. What was suppose to be one two drinks turned out to be an onslaught of drinks. All started in Friday's Section 14. Didn't help that we sat by the bar and arrived there smack in the middle of a 'happy' happy hours.

Shot off to Nooks supposedly for some draft Stout but ended up drinking a bottle of Famous Grouse.Everything else that happen was a blur. I know now that i have a custody card and i know also that John warned me not to finish 'it' so i'm guessing there is still some balance of the bottle. Head still spinning now. Luckily it's friday so a bit laidback at the moment.

I learn a few new things yesterday;

1. John got a new car. Turbo satria bloody hell. Quite fast also and knowing John it won't be long before he does more work on it. The leopard skin steering cover doesn't cut it though John! LOL

2. Nooks got a new pool table. You know they are full during lunch but not once have i eaten there. Food must be good then, well maybe someday i'll eat there.

3. Terry didnt want to drink whiskey! That's something really new. To balance it out he did drink stout though.

4. Janet is going to see U2 in Melbourne! I hate you!!! :p

5. Chris is too difficult to keep up with. This man has too many agendas. Word.

Let's see it's 8.30pm and;

1. Eddie wants to meet up at 10.30 to follow up on yesterday's business plan at a quiet cafe! Where in Taman Desa is there a quiet cafe? Probably try to coax him to go to Cafe 2047, least they have beer there. And cards!!

2. Eng Soon sms-ed and wants to go out. I'm guessing Velvet since it's Mambo Night. Honestly, i think i need a break from Zouk/Velvet already becoming part of the furniture lately. Haven't replied his sms yet though :p

3. Natasha wants to have dinner and she's gonna pick up Sabrina. I hope we eat somewhere nearby though. Quite afraid I might get into another arguement later so the nearer it is the shorter the ride home.

4. Not quite sure what to get for mum's bday on the 10th. Think i'll give my sis a call.

On an ending note check this email i got my Jacinta my colleague. I found some of it hilarious. .. er... i'll leave it up to you to decide.

Back home for couple of days.

Back from Perlis after two days of work in that cowboy state. Headed back there again this Saturday. Sigh... I memorized the 8TV Monday night programme already!

How is it that a state in between Langkawi and Thailand become so boring? First of all there are no watering holes. Secondly there is nothing to do after 10pm except sleep and lastly, there are karaoke machines in mamaks?!? You know the standard Malay shops with the green lights and signs saying 'Nasi Campur, Nasi Paprik' and so on? Yeah! It's at those places you can hear people belting out numbers like it was Juara Lagu 2006! I even heard 'Suci Dalam Debu' LOL

The only theory i came up with is that i guess that's their only source of entertainment. Or the fact that the happening people spend their nights in Langkawi or Thailand. Hmmnn.. i think i shall try to get some more insight on this when i go back this Saturday being a weekend and all.

Back to work

OMG going back to work after another break like this isn't making ppl productive at all. I mean it feels like monday but in fact it's thursday!

Got so much work forth coming in the next two months alone to keep me on my toes. Someone up there please please make me hit the lottery. I just wanna retire and laze the days away. If anyone got an alternative to work kindly contact me before the next long holiday break!
